Lawrence High Credit Recovery
New students must be enrolled at the district level. Counselors will initiate this process.
Counselors will enroll students in the correct courses
User name = lastname followed by first initial (johnsonc) Pass word is birthday: mmddyy
Student accounts are created at the district level. When a new student is enrolled in Credit Recovery, counselors will initiate registration. This process may take a day or two. We will send confirmation of enrollment to teachers as soon as students can begin working.
Students may work from anywhere they have access to internet.
Class enrollment is limited to one or two classes per student as we would rather have one credit completed than several partially done.
Students who do not make adequate progress (usually at least one class per semester) lose the privilege of taking a spot in a credit recovery class during the next semester.
Encourage students to bring headphones. Some units include video clips.

Counselors will enroll students in the correct courses
- Students will log into Odysseyware at school: https://lawrenceusd.owschools.com
User name = lastname followed by first initial (johnsonc) Pass word is birthday: mmddyy
- Teachers should monitor progress and assist students as needed
- When logging in on administrative accounts, assignments requiring grading will be marked with a yellow exclamation mark
- Teachers will open assignments and update (grade) assignments.
- When students have completed a class: email their counselor, Lori (who will transcribe the class), and Diannia. Please include the title of the class, the final percentage, and whether they did first semester, second semester, or the full year
- Students completing a course with under 60% do not earn credit. You can go into the content and “reassign” assignments with low grades.
- Counselors will open the next course
- Most students need more than one class, so it is helpful if you will alert their counselor when they are close to completion
